Trumbull Community Television
Trumbull Community Television (TCTV) is a small, town-specific TV station located in the local public high school.
The State of Connecticut set aside educational access TV channels when cable TV franchises were granted.
This gave towns and schools the opportunity to broadcast hyper-local and educational programming.
In 2003, the Town of Trumbull Cable Advisory Committee was formed with the mission to “ensure that the residents of Trumbull have excellent cable television” through “the creation, airing and viewing of community access programming that presents news and information specific to the community.”
In 2017, the Trumbull Town Council established the Trumbull Education and Government Access Television Commission to continue the mission of Trumbull Community Television.

Currently there are two (2) open CHARTER advisory board positions open for Trumbull residents. The CHARTER Cable Advisory Council charge is to carry forth the work set in CT law as an extension of the PURA and to be the advisory agent for community interests in communications with the cable company (www.charter.com) about policies, products & services. This committee represents the cable franchise area, comprised of the following towns: Barkhamsted, Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Colebrook, Harwinton, Kent, Monroe, New Fairfield, New Hartford, New Milford, Newtown, Roxbury, Sherman, Southbury, Trumbull, Washington, Winchester, and Woodbury.
